Kepu Manga Shelf is a small collection tracker. It needs some information to keep your shelf working, and that is what we use it for.

Kepu does not sell your shelf data, and we do not use your collection for advertising.

What is kept

When you create an account, Kepu keeps the basic account information needed to sign you in. If you use Google or Apple to sign in, this includes the account information they make available to Kepu for that purpose, such as your email address or account identifier.

Kepu also keeps the information you choose to add to your shelf. This can include:

• manga titles and collection details
• volumes you own, are missing or want to buy
• owner labels
• languages, publishers, editions and retailers
• purchase dates
• genres and other series information
• favorites and notes
• cover images you upload or ask Kepu to save
• your Kepu preferences and settings

Kepu also uses Lovable’s built-in app analytics. These provide general information about how the app is being used, such as visits and page views, which pages are used, where visits came from, device type and country.

This information is used to understand how Kepu is being used and to help maintain and improve the app. Kepu does not currently use a separate advertising or third-party product analytics service.

If you contact Kepu for help, we also receive whatever you choose to include in your message, such as your email address, a description of the problem or screenshots.

Where it is kept

Kepu Manga Shelf currently runs on Lovable Cloud using a Lovable-managed Supabase backend.

Kepu’s database is currently hosted in the European Union, in the AWS eu-west-1 region in Ireland.

The database and authentication services are used to keep your account and shelf working. Cover images saved by Kepu are stored as part of your shelf data.

Lovable and the service providers it uses may process information as necessary to host, secure and operate the service.

Google and Apple are used for sign-in when you choose those options. They do not receive your Kepu manga collection simply because you use them to sign in.

Who else can see it

Your shelf is associated with your account. Other Kepu users cannot browse or see your collection.

The person running Kepu may need access to information connected with the app when providing support, investigating a problem, maintaining the service or dealing with a security issue. Your shelf is not routinely read or reviewed.

Lovable and the infrastructure providers it uses process information as needed to host and operate Kepu.

Lovable treats the information people put into Kepu, together with Kepu’s app analytics information, as data belonging to Kepu’s users. Lovable states that it does not use this data to train its AI models.

If you sign in with Google or Apple, that provider handles the sign-in process under its own privacy terms.

Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect the security of Kepu or its users.

How long it is kept

Your account and shelf information are kept while your Kepu account remains open so that the app can provide your collection back to you.

You can export or back up your shelf from Kepu at any time.

If you delete your Kepu Manga Shelf account, Kepu deletes your active account and the shelf data associated with it, including your:

• manga and volume records
• owners
• languages
• retailers
• preferences
• saved cover information

The authentication account used to sign in is then deleted as well.

Delete your Kepu Manga Shelf account

Some limited information may remain temporarily in infrastructure logs, backups or other systems maintained by the services that operate Kepu, where needed for security, reliability, recovery or legal purposes. Those copies are not available to you as an active Kepu shelf and are handled according to the relevant service provider’s retention practices.

Messages you send to Kepu for support may be kept for as long as reasonably needed to answer your request, keep a record of the issue, or meet security or legal requirements.

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request access, correction or deletion.
